7:14 PRAYER EIGHTEEN

...WILL SEEK MY FACE AND PRAY...

Father God, You are worthy of worship. You know all things. You are all powerful. You have good things in store for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. You use everything in my life to conform me to the image of Christ. I pray that You will give me a deep, burning desire to seek Your presence, know Your character, and have a heart that desires Your Will more than anything else. Show me sin that I must confess and repent of in order that I may have a close relationship with You. Give me the words to pray for our nation and its leaders. Culture often has a major influence on my desires. I pray that I will know Your Word and value what You value. Help me to lay aside my personal preferences in favor of Your Will and plan as I pray. I trust Your heart and ask You to bring our nation closer to You. I pray for this to begin in me.
