7:14 PRAYER NINE

...AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS...

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. This is Your Word of Truth. We have known Your great blessing, Lord, in this country for all of our lives. You are a Good God, but we are no longer a Godly nation. You have been asked to leave our schools, our churches, our court systems, and our government. We kill our babies for convenience. We are no longer a friend to Israel though You said that You will bless those who bless Israel and You will curse those who curse Israel. Our government plots with those who would destroy Israel. Lord, this battle has been raging for a long while, and we know this battle is not against flesh and blood, but against Rulers, against Powers, against Principalities, against Demons in High places. Lord, we confess all of these evils to You, Our God, knowing that we are people who desperately need You in every aspect of life. We know that we are under judgment because we are adulterous and idolators. We have other gods that take our time and we give You our leftovers. We have cheated on our One True Love when You demand a faithful bride. You are a God of love, but because You are righteous, You will judge those who go against Your prescribed Way and this is where we find ourselves. Knowing we cannot continue down this road to destruction, we cry out for Your mercy again, Lord, we cry out for undeserved favor and we cry out knowing that most won't repent, won't change or turn to You, but will continue down the destructive path. We pray as Jesus did, Father, forgive them for they know not what they are doing. Lord, we are at Your Mercy. Amen.
