7:14 PRAYER THIRTY SEVEN

Father, we thank You for the freedoms we enjoy. We not only live in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, where we have so many blessings and opportunities, but, as believers in Jesus Christ, we have true freedom from sin, death, hell, and the grave. Jesus paid the price for us to receive ultimate freedom for all of eternity. May we never forget the price that was paid for our freedom--by patriots who fought against tyranny and oppression and by our Lord and Savior who died on the cross in our place. Help us to appreciate, celebrate, and cling to the freedoms that cost so much. As has been said many times, "Freedom is never free." Remind us, dear Lord.
