7:14 PRAYER TWENTY

...AND HEAL THEIR LAND...

Dear God, I thank You for allowing us the freedoms we have as Americans. Thank You for loving us despite our wickedness. Thank You for providing for us despite our unfaithfulness. I come to You with a heavy heart, and ask You to direct and guide our future. Your Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you." Help us all to remember this promise as election season comes up. Help us to remember that YOU are King over all and You have promised to be with us. You place people in high positions of power--some we might like and some we might not. Despite our thoughts, Lord, help us to remember that You are working our Your plan. Help us to pray for and respect our government leaders no matter what. Use those individuals to fulfill Your purpose. Bring faithful men and women close to the leader of our country who can interject integrity and wisdom into major decisions. Help us as a country to pray and support our leaders, but also grow where we are planted--blessing and being kind to those around us so that we may shine a light for You in all we say and do and that light will start to spread and take over our dark land. In Jesus' name, Amen.
