7:14 PRAYER TWENTY SEVEN

King of kings, Your Word tells us that all governments have been placed in power by God (Romans 13:1). You alone decide who will rise and who will fall. Psalm 33 tells us that You scatter the schemes of nations who oppose You, and that the nation who has God as their Lord will be blessed and prosperous. It also tells us that human strength and the weapons of man are false hopes for victory. The Lord alone is our hope, and we trust in You with all our hearts. We know that You are always at work for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). We plead with You, Lord, to heal our land, to turn our hearts back to You, to work in our government officials so that they do the right thing, the best thing, for our nation. You, Lord, are our only hope. Help us.
