PRAYER FOR CONGRESS

Dear Heavenly Father, please be with our Congressmen and women. Help them to see the truth of what they have allowed to happen in our country. They have passed laws that have caused division between people and parties. They have let greed guide their actions instead of what is best for our country. Help them to see this country as You see it so that they will be convicted of the wrong decisions they have made. Help them to put aside their differences and work together to do what is best for this nation...to do what You would want them to do...not what will make them rich or powerful. They scheme to keep their party in power in ways that are deceitful and keep the truth from the American people. Let honesty rule their lives instead of lies and cheating. Both parties need to turn to You for guidance. Please help them to seek Your will to help the future of our country. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer in Jesus' name, Amen.
