PRAYER FOR FAMILIES

Father, I am so grateful to be able to call You Father. You created families for us to love, to learn, to support each other, and You adopted us into Your family through the blood of Jesus. Your command to us is to love You with all of our heart, soul, and strength. And You told us to teach this to our children, to talk about You and Your love and Your laws when we sit in our homes, as we walk day by day, when we lie down to sleep, and when we rise up to face a new day (Deuteronomy 6:5-7). Remind us to teach the children Your truth, to show them how to trust in You, to lead by example in how to walk with You daily, and to call to You in prayer for all of our needs. You are our only Hope and the only Hope of our nation. I pray that families will commit to follow You wholeheartedly so that they can experience Your blessing, and that their children will know You personally as a good, good Father.
