PRAYER FOR FIRST RESPONDERS

Father, I pray for those who run toward danger rather than away from it. I thank You for their service to people they don't even know, their willingness to deal with ugly, sometimes devastating situations, and their compassion for those who are hurting. Give them wisdom, patience, and discernment as they deal with all kinds of traumatic experiences. I also pray that You will bless them at home with peace, love, and joy in their families, and that they will recognize that You are their Source of strength, protection, and hope. May they come to You each day to receive just what they need for that day. Bless them, Lord. Thank You again for our first responders.
