PRAYER FOR ISRAEL

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, we rejoice to witness Your sovereign hand protecting Israel. Her troubles should not surprise us because Your prophets foretold her future; being the nation that will ultimately draw all people to You. You promised Abram the land would be given to his descendants. You told Ezekiel, "When I bring them (Israel) home from the lands of their enemies, I will display my holiness among them for all the nations to see." You are the protector of the land. Though the Jewish people's hearts have not returned to You, their time of surrender to You is quickly approaching.

Lord of Heaven's Armies, the enemy has so thoroughly infiltrated our nation that even our leaders have forgotten the miracle of Israel's restoration just 76 years ago. The Secretary of State and State Department leaders have become part of Satan's endgame to destroy Your chosen nation, take their land, and prevent Jesus from taking the throne of David. Just as the sacred scrolls were brought to Josiah to bring Your truth to the king's attention, please bring Your truth about Israel's purpose in the consciousness of our State Department. Cause them to realize the foolishness of their current actions and fully understand cursing Abraham's seed only leads to destruction. Lord, only You can change the hearts of men; they are in Your hand.

Father, help us rejoice as we witness what the prophets hoped to see in their day. Give us an unquenchable burden to tell others of Your gift of salvation bought by the blood of Jesus. You are already preparing the soil. Let us not grow weary in well-doing and help us encourage one another as we see that day approaching.
