PRAYER FOR OUR COURT SYSTEM

Righteous Judge, Sovereign Lord, The Way The Truth and The Life, I come to You today begging Your mercy. Our court system is broken. Judges do not seem to be impartial any more. They want to make laws or at least interpret the current laws with bias, rather than consider the facts objectively. Some have been appointed for political leverage, others have been elected, but I pray that all of them will return to the Bible and to the Constitution for their judicial compass. Each case is not an island. They affect our freedoms for years into the future. Remind each judge that each decision is ultimately black or white, right or wrong, life or death, and cannot be frivolously determined. May they put much prayer, discernment, study, and wise counsel into each case. Bring our courts back to Your will and ways, Lord.
