PRAYER FOR PASTORS

Father, I pray for pastors, ministers, and priests all across this nation. Give them a shepherd's heart to love and care for their flock. May they be people of good character, moral, full of honesty and integrity, and able to lead their congregations to the truth and in the right way to go. Give them a love for You and Your Word, so that they can inspire the people to do the same. Your Word tells us to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength" and "love your neighbor as yourself". Cause that to be true in all pastors and for all of us who are called Christians. Make us more like You, Jesus.
