PRAYER FOR U.S. SUPREME COURT

The Supreme Court is the final arbitrator of laws in our country. Well-meaning individuals in states or government may pass a law, but once the Supreme Court rules on it, there is no higher power in this country. Over the years, we've seen many controversial decisions come out of the Supreme Court...some "good", some "bad". Much is made on whether one party has the majority of judges appointed by their President...but even that is not a guarantee that they will rule in the favor of that party. Heavenly Father, this body that we call Supreme, pales in the face of Your true Supremacy. We pray that these men and women will approach each decision in front of them with a heart seeking Your will for our country. We pray that their wisdom will be led by Your Spirit for Your glory for our country. Bend their knee, Father, and bend ours also. Amen.
