PRAYER FOR UNITED STATES

My heart hurts for our nation, Lord. I pray for everyone who hurts because of the tragic events of 7/13/24. We have allowed evil to overwhelm us. Rather than Christians being the light that eradicates the darkness, we are allowing the darkness to snuff out our light. Help us to stand and to allow Christ to shine through us. Violence is not the answer. Hate is not the answer. Vengeance is not the answer. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Enable us to be the people we need to be to turn this nation back to You. In the power of the Name of Jesus, Amen.
